Rush started production in 2010 under the title of 24x7 Raftaar. However, after the death of director Shamin Desai, the film was shelved. In October 2011, it was announced that the film was to be completed by Desai's wife and the title was changed to Play. In April 2012, it was reported that the project began filming once again and the current title is Rush.[3] Rush will be released on 26 Oct 2012.
